- It was really great to see them again. Not the best concert of course (mistakes, soundproblems), but great anyway.
- Stephane is indeed doing a great singing job, as someone mentioned before when talking about the Breda gig.
- As for the new songs, I liked Oh Your God, Eternal Woman and Favorite Game very much.
- Overall, Instant Street was the highlight for me. Very good rendition. The outro is just always excellent.
- I didn't like the light show that much. Lots of white light.
- A little thing that surprised me: Tom is playing a Gibson Les Paul on a lot of the songs.

So far, I don't really like the setlists from the two gigs that much. Of course, they need to practise the new songs and choose to play "safe songs" they did extensively on PR tour. I just wish that, after some gigs of practising and figuring everything out, they will play some more diverse sets including a good mixture of all albums.

I just posted my review on the tour diary. I'm sad to see a lot of people apparently hated the gig.... maybe I'm too soft on dEUS, maybe they still haven't got over the fact that Stef left the band 12 yars ago....

Half an hour later dEUS entered the stage. They started with When She Comes Down, sounding better than in Breda, and followed with Oh Your God, with Stéphane in top drumming shape. Sun Ra followed: what a start! The Lisa-less version of Eternal Woman was fine, but already Tom’s stage feedback was marred by technical problems, and that would go on until the end of the concert, making him visibly very upset (he looked outright sombre during Instant Street, shouting angrily in French at his roadies). If he’d known that his voice and guitars sounded just fine heard from the audience, maybe he’d have relaxed a little and have given his fans a little more attention… The other guys didn’t seem to suffer from any such annoyance. [longish review again, read the rest here]

Can't add more to JYves review.

but:

- tom had problems with his in ear monitors. it's the first time he uses those onstage and he still has to get used to them
- I thought I did hear Klaas play the vibraphone-parts on Nothing Really Ends, though they weren't loud enough
- they are going to shorten the setlist with a couple of songs because now the gig was allmost 2 hours long
- still don't like the light show, after a couple of songs it gets boring and I miss some mysterious atmosphere (like when Tom starts playing Roses) because you can see the band all the time standing in the lights
- I have spend some time backstage (after all these years I still feel like a fan who sneaked in ;) ) and I must say the atmosphere was really good. They were really excited when the V2 man entered the room with the 'real' Vantage Point CD's (the regular ones, not the digipack), how lovely to see...

When they get all the technical stuff right and starting to feel comfortable and happy onstage, the gigs will be outstanding (as usual). That's my conclusion!

Hi folk !

I was at the two last gigs. Even if I can’t add something new to the very exhaustive reviews of JYves, I’m coming to let you my impressions… The cohesion in the band seems better than ever. The revision of the line-up before the last tour is definitely a great success. Stef is the more impressive. His game is perfect and he puts his voice on a lot of songs. In this line-up, they definitely rock !
The one and only regret is the playlist. 75% of the songs are taken from the two last lp’s. Instant Street, Roses, Thurnpike and Fell Off The Floor was the rare oldies… it’s too short guys ! No one from Worst Case Scenario ! And the two setlists were exactly the same except in the order… Considering the huuuuge and top quality dEUS’catalogue, it is a shame. I really hope that this will change rapidly. Do you imagine this band performing The Ideal Crash, Sud's & Soda, Hotellounge, Via, Put the freaks, Gimme The Heat, Let see who goes down,... and changing often all the setlist ? It WOULD be AWESOME. Now it IS just good...

For crying out... I've paid 30 euros for a ticket, and thus they'd better play for 2 hours.
