After at la Flèche d'Or ?!

Postby PixelJuice on Thu 29 Sep, 2005 01:32

I believe there is an after at the Fleche d'Or, if Parisians are reading the forum in real time 8)

I met Arno at the concert too ! In the lobby !
And a Belgian guy who was very surprised how famous dEUS is here... Weird !

The Olympia was full.

Wooooumf ! The sound was huge ! So loud that the first songs were kind of blurred. Then they played, and played, and played, it was emotion & raw power 8O

Still on the dEUS rush !

Postby PixelJuice on Thu 29 Sep, 2005 11:30

Hey Via :D

I missed the Fleche d'Or after, chiefly because my friends were exausted, and worked on the next morning...

Can you tell me how it went ?

I'm really happy with this concert, it has a lasting effect on me, and not only with the buzzing ears

Well, the Flèche d'or is really a nice place, it was the first time i went to, it'as really a great place, kind of fake-old-fashionned thing ! :P I stayed until 3, and as i told you there was not too much people (not more than 200 i guess) , there was a good dj but no one was dancing except Tom who was in an electric excitment ! :D

He told us about "ANyway the wind blows": he's trying to put it on french screens again soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D for the ones, like me, who missed it....

I saw on LYLO (french gig magazine) that Millionnaire should have been the first part of the gig !!!!???? Do anybody has to say something about this ridiculous band we saw instead??? 8O

Flèche d'Or, Geronimo...

Postby PixelJuice on Fri 30 Sep, 2005 02:30

J'aurais bien aimé voir Tom danser!

Oops, switching to english LOL

Postby PixelJuice on Fri 30 Sep, 2005 02:38

Oops, I just noticed how I switched to french, without a blink...

So, here is the translation :

Thanks Via for this short report about the after. I would have loved to see Tom dance, as after such a concert, after such an energy exchange, it is nice to know the artists are far from exhausted !

I enjoy la Flèche d'Or a lot, it seems like a magic station, stranded between dimensions. It must have been cool, it has a feeling that is adequate for the dEUS after.

About Geronimo, the opening feature, I only went in at the very end of their show, when the singer was introducing his band, so I have no opinion... I think he said they were going to play at La Maroquinerie in november, but cant' find any mention of their date on the web's agenda.

That's it ! it's been a freakin concert !

( : translation is a real job !)

Well il me semble que tu as raison....
Thanks PJ.

Welle i found the sound ok, the band ok as far as I was not front row at all. BUT... the audience seemed too quite to me. Nobody'jumping in my area except one little girl... My friend and I were just surprised. Maybe the dEUS audience is just getting older ??? Maybe I was in the elderly people place ;) ? Just got the same feeling at La Maroquinerie.... too bad. I loved the excitement of a dEUS gig, la route du rock 2004 for instance.

What do you think or feel about the audience during the other french gigs ?

Sorry for my bad english.
